These guys are efficient. They know what they're doing. The line seemed crowded, but they moved pretty quickly. I got the cheap combo (external + internal wash) All in all, the car was in and out in about 15 minutes.
$17.99 for a car wash (with coupon)...are you kidding me??? Really???? I used to take my car there. Just a few years ago it was like $7.99 with a coupon. I understand that costs do go up, and continued to take my car there every 3 or 4 months even when they raised it to $12.99, which was only last year...but fricken $17.99? Heck no. I know someone who owns a car wash, and like all other car washes, they have illegal Hispanics doing the work, and they dont pay them more than $5/hr, if even that. If the price increase actually benefited these workers in pay raises, I would be sympathetic to the massive price increase, but sadly it all about greed. It's now back to vacuuming myself and $6 Chevron drive thru wash
pretty cheap and quick. they did quite a job.
You know those $6 carwashes that gas stations offer? Your car will come out similarly clean to that here, but for 3-5x higher price. They'll charge $20-30 (with tips) for their "full service" wash, but still fail to actually clean the car, leaving smudges and dirt stains all over the exterior still in place. The wipers at the end clearly leave smears/dirt around corners still -- obviously too much work for them to actually clean all of it. Been here twice, and it's been the same each time. The 2nd time, they even failed to vacuum the trunk. If you want an actual clean car, look elsewhere.
It amazes me that companies that are in the customer service business fail to understand what customer service means!! I will NOT go to this place again and I suggest others that are looking for a good quality experience to look elsewhere. If it is fast and somewhat cheep and you don't really pay attention to detail, then this place is for you. I have been to this particular place a time or two since it is close to work so I ventured other there during lunch with my brand new Nissan Leaf- just weeks old and not through a car wash yet. After paying for the Works, waiting for my car and handing the attendance a nice 20+% tip, I notice many places are still wet! There was just one person wiping it down and they finished rather quickly in my opinion. After looking further, many places were still dripping and a few dirt spots still there- not very hard to see on a brand new car and paint job. So I pull someone other and they wipe them down. I then get in and the arm rests are still dusty! Come on!! So I go to the cashier and ask to see management. The guy that greets me asks me what the problem is and I start to explain as we start to walk towards the car. Within 20 seconds of me explaining things, he starts to say that I am the first one to complain and it is already 1:15pm and they have had 500 cars today and no complaints. He was saying this is a very defensive and adversarial way at that. When I showed him the car and started walking through my start, he just became more and more argumentative as if it were my problem and that I was not reading the fine print on what they do for The Works. He was not really listening to what I had to say and even thinking that maybe I had a valid complaint. I was not looking to slam someone but rather giving them the opportunity to correct a quality mistake that "slipped" through the system. But no way Jose. As in life and in sports many times, the quality of the player or person is not necessarily tested when all is going well, but rather how well that person deals with adversity and when the going gets tough. "Not how well you hit your golf ball off the fairway but rather how well you recover from the ruff." for you golfers. In any case, there are MANY OTHER car wash places that charge the same amount that pay more attendion to detail and provide quality service when recovering from a mishap. I will NOT go to this place again nor will I suggest it to anyone. I have also never written a review until now because I was so frustrated.
