We stayed here for 22 months and stay was good until we realize while move out. Certain things that should be brought in light. 1. Car parking is not safe, My car has been tampered many times and kept warning me sometime during night. I ignored thinking may be because of wind. One day my car trunk was opened. 2. We got new carpets while move in and carpet was not fitted well so it started popping up after an year. They do not say that for normal wear and tear of carpet they will charge but while move out you have to pay huge amount on the carpet. Its not just cleaning, you will have to pay them almost the new carpet amount. 3. Again stove top has been used for 2 year so we have to pay for it which is no where mentioned in the agreement. 4. Apartment cleaning charge which was not mentioned in the agreement. Just note that for any extra charge they will mention one clause "Apartment should be returned the way it was while move in". I was expecting that they may keep my deposit of 250 bucks. Forget about deposit they charged me extra 800 bucks. Be careful and decide if you want to move in. I will never ever again move into this apartment nor refer any of my friends. Re: We did contact Manager ( Debbie ) and posted this after extreme disappointment.
Generally Good. Nearer to all types of shopping.
Enjoying living here in this beautiful area.
1) Bad management. Debbie is a miserable liar. She's the manager. If you want her to do her job, you have to get creative and call HER bosses. Will not protect you from neighbors who harass you, smoke pot that clouds up into your apartment from below, party loudly, etc. 2) Security is a problem. Packages and clothing stolen. 3) Poor insulation. Makes electricity bills very high, will not protect you from heat, cold, loud neighbors, smoke, mold, moisture, etc. 4) Apartment is constantly being frequented by maintenance for a variety of reasons, which especially if you're a pet-owner, is disconcerting. Maintenance did not always shut the door behind them, and I always worried that my cat would get out or I'd have to lock him up all the time. 5) Definitely mold problems. It is impossible to keep away, and if you're not careful, it will try to encroach into the carpet (via the balcony seals).
We stayed there for almost 20 months and moved out in 09, here is my feedback Good -- The apartments are nice and re-modeled, Service is on time and you will get some maintenance response. Gym is well maintained and nice play area for kids. Tracy is helpful and friendly. Bad We were on the side facing foot hills, there was always loud music and noise. Weekly cleaning of all windows is necessary else there will be mold. Water is white and looks sedimented. Will charge for every imaginable cleaning at move out and charge hundreds, even if you have taken best care of the apartment. Debbie as manager. Summary When I was there I have recommended palisades to 3 other families, its an OK place, but you will be treated bad when you move out.
